What We Do

We serve light breakfasts, tasty lunches and hearty dinners, all made on the premises with fresh, local ingredients.

During the day we are a counter-service café, in the evenings we are a traditional bistro. 'Please see our current opening times on our contact page for Evening Details.

We stay open between mealtimes so whether you're on 'holiday time' and want lunch at 3pm, or just want to pop in for a drink, we'll always do our best to fit you in.

We're fully licensed, with a range of real ales (including Golden Panther, brewed in Reepham) and carefully selected wines, plus tea, coffee and soft drinks.

Everything is made on the premises, including our baked goods, and available to eat in or take away.

Our meat and fish are sourced from reputable, long-established local suppliers such as butcher Icarus Hines, fishmonger JJ & CAS Davies and Lizzie's Fruit and Veg. We use Norfolk produce whenever we can.

" My son's hot chocolate was amazing! I like good coffee and this passed the test. Nice touch to see the jukebox in the corner. Friendly and efficient staff. "

Vegetarian options are always available, and we'll always do our best to meet any other special dietary requirements, including gluten-free and dairy-free options – although we do recommend booking or calling in advance if you can.

We are family friendly (smaller portions available), fully wheelchair accessible and welcome well-behaved dogs on leads.

To book a table, just call us on 01263 511926.

" You must try the Old Rock Shop whilst in Cromer. Great home made cakes and light meals, lunch time and evening. Always a warm welcome from Sam and Rachel. Small dogs also allowed. "
